alter animus is a great feeling game, I had fun playing through it. remiyell's work is what shines - the backgrounds, character portraits, character designs, enemy designs, and ui are what I was most excited to see as I played through. There's lots of room for the game to grow. The story has me wanting to play more and I was sad to hit the credits. The combat is a classic rpg turn-based system and looking through the menus gives me the idea that there's plenty more abilities, items, and equipment that could be added. 

keep going and give us more of riley and randy whenever you can!

And yes, I have indeed already begun to build the proper battle system. It was kept rather simple in the demo for story reasons, but I plan to make the RPG systems more interested in the full game.

i love how eery this game feels. it is still a work in progress but it is very promising and has its very own charme. it is unique! the art is wonderful and i like the music as well. i'm impressed the creator made all this on their own! game, art, music... wow! i want to see it grow. i want to know everything about the story.
